Christmas Is Coming!
Christmas Eve and Boxing Day services will be church led so we are looking for volunteers to put together a fun but meaningful Christmas Eve service and maybe a laid-back kind of Boxing Day service. Please let me know if you are willing to help.

An Update from Sharon, Cliff and Echo
Dear Dunsford Family of Faith,
I hope this finds you all well. We continue to hold you all in prayer as these months have gone flying by. Anne and Carol have kindly given permission for me to include a brief update to you all. You may recall that I accepted an intentional interim ministry position at Grace United Peterborough. In July we welcomed Kevin Fitzpatrick part-time to Grace as our youth young families and community outreach minister (YYFCO) and he is doing an excellent job. He continues also to do an excellent job at Janetville. These two positions comprise his SME (supervised ministry of education) placement. Thank you to all for holding him and all his ministries in prayer. His covenanting with Janetville PC is this Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2:00 P.M. Masks are needed and distancing and following of protocols are in place. The Rev. Jan Stobie is preaching and Sue Petterson is the ECORC representative. Kevin’s SME continues until June 30, 2023.
On the Ballantyne front, I am leaving Grace Dec. 31, 2021, after an amazing year of intentional interim ministry work with this pastoral charge. Cliff and I are moving to Halifax in December and I begin another Intentional Interim Ministry appointment for two years, serving at Fort Massey. Fort Massey celebrates 150 years this month. We move into the manse by the 29th of December. It is a lovely big home with four bedrooms on the second floor and two additional attic bedrooms (hint: come visit Nova Scotia ) Part of Fort Massey’s history is that while she lived in Halifax, this was the home congregation of Lucy Maude Montgomery and the church is known for its 1913 organ. We will retain our house here, with delightful house sitter caretakers being arranged for. We will visit for the month of July and hope to visit a Sunday at DUC in July, by which time we are 18 months post-departure, exceeding the 12 months separation required by the United Church. I will continue to be Kevin’s supervisor, though it will be done remotely. The first thing Cliff prepared for the move was a bunch of plants. He will be in charge of creating manse gardens. Thank you again for all of your love and support, encouragement and prayers. Wishing you a blessed and holy Advent and Christmas filled with hope, peace, joy and love! Stay safe and stay well.
Please keep in your prayers: Emma as she continues on her cancer journey; Tracie recovering from a car accident.
